Designed in collaboration with flamenco virtuoso Gerardo Núñez, the GK Pro Negra is a professional-grade instrument that captures the raw, passionate soul of traditional flamenco while incorporating modern features for the contemporary performer. This guitar is built for speed, response, and stage-ready performance.
The solid European spruce top provides a sharp, articulate attack and a wide dynamic range, essential for the complex techniques of flamenco. Paired with solid cypress back and sides, it produces the classic bright, punchy, and rapid tone with quick decay that cuts through any setting. The sleek “negra” (thin-body) profile offers a lightweight, comfortable feel and enhances the guitar’s projection.
Playability is paramount. The neck is crafted from Canadian cedar and features a smooth, satin finish and a modern 14-fret radiused design for incredibly fast action and effortless movement across the fretboard. It comes equipped with a professional Fishman Presys Blend pickup system, combining an undersaddle transducer with an internal microphone for a rich, natural amplified sound. The onboard preamp includes a chromatic tuner, volume, blend, and tone controls.
